Yes But they need funding and safe guards. Moreover there is required client participation. I am an adult with autism, and it is my experience with the autism act 2009 and the autism strategy for Wales, that without clients voices been heard you run the risk of 1) a giant bureaucratic paperwork producing exercise 2) a win fall for third party providers 3) a wasted opportunity for service users 4) a gateway to neglect as goals rather than people become the objectives of services |
04 |
Yes But telling is only as important as the independent oversight that is given to said objectives |
05 |
Thank God, the autism provision is unsafe, achieving little, we need nation's standards, sharing best practice and learning from bad practice ASP |

Yes I have had autism assessment as adult in Wales. It had only a psychologist and a nurse. A social worker would help with joining up provision, a occupational therapist would be invaluable. Even eight years on I have yet to see one, would help with assessment and treatment. Many persons with Autism have other conditions, the above list makes total sense. |

Autism trained advocate. Preferably a autistic person, this could lead to volunteer work and new jobs for autistic persons. |
12 |
Peer groups to discuss condition and create social networks for free support. Job training and job fairs tailored to them |

Yes |
14 |
Male and female genders on not exclusive for autistic persons, even the idea of self is not always a concept. This needs widening a lot. The autism community is more neurally diverse than the none autism community. |
15 |
Not sure Depends on what it is being used for. Some autism persons will refuse to provide said information, if so what affects will this have if it is written in the bill? |
16 |
No This is over reach, and you cannot maintain standards. |
17 |
It should happen all the time. At present it is not happening enough, I feel forgotten and lost. The local council treat vunerable persons as a cost cutting service, not as human beings. So what do you think? But high lighting needs is one side of a coin. Where is the highlighting of autism and what it can bring to society. Tesla, Einstein, Maxwell, Newton, etc without Autism the world would not be where it is. |
18 |
The bill shall be as good as the provision to independently verify oversight it's implementation. It may create a framework for new service provision, however in light of over cuts, it may just impoverished community learning disabilities teams serving other clients who do not fit into the new framework. |
